MINSK . The driver is in a state
intoxicated and not having the right to drive a vehicle, the Borisov traffic police inspectors detained the man, the man tried to escape from law enforcement officers in a stolen car. This was reported to BELTA by the
Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee. Today at about 4.23 a concerned citizen reported to the police that a Mazda car was moving along the M1 highway, the driver of which was presumably drunk. A crew of the inter-district traffic police department of the Borisov District Department of Internal Affairs immediately left for the scene.
The inspectors found the foreign car at the 430th km of the highway and signaled to stop. Having turned on the flashing lights and siren, the traffic police officers began pursuit. The driver ignored repeated
demands to stop and increased the speed to 150 km/h. He drove several kilometers, lost control on one of the curves of the road and drove off into a ditch.
As the State Traffic Inspectorate officers found out, the driver of the car was an 18-year-old resident of the Krupsky district.
it also turned out that he did not have a driver's license, and he stole the car shortly before the arrest. According to the results of the examination, 0.9 ppm of
ALCOHOL was found in the offender's blood. Several administrative protocols were drawn up against the drunk driver without a license and a criminal case was opened on the fact of theft.
