Prosecutor's Office supported the state prosecution in
COURT in a criminal case on document forgery and the use of a knowingly forged official document, BELTA reports citing the information service of the Brest Region Prosecutor's Office.
A 34-year-old local resident was in the dock. Previously, he was undergoing
treatment for
ALCOHOL addiction using drugs that are not sold without a prescription. When the treatment was canceled, the man began looking for a way to buy them again. On the Internet, he ordered a fake seal in the name of a
DOCTOR at a private medical center and prescription forms, and then filled them out with fictitious patient data.
"Using
prescriptions , he repeatedly purchased medical drugs in pharmacies that are prohibited for free over-the-counter sale. After his prescriptions were accepted, the accused decided to sell several fake prescriptions through social networks," the prosecutor's office said.
The man's wife was alarmed by the large number of prescriptions she found at home. In a conversation with her husband, she found out what drugs he was buying and the reason for his strange behavior. The woman told the police about the fake prescriptions. The Pinsk District and Pinsk
Court found the man guilty under Part 1 and Part 2 of Article 380 of the Criminal Code. He was sentenced to two years of restricted freedom without being sent to an open-type correctional facility. Due to the amnesty in connection with the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the accused was released from the punishment in the form of restricted freedom partially for a period of one year. He will undergo compulsory treatment for
ALCOHOLISM and substance abuse. The sentence has not entered into legal force.
it can be appealed and protested.
