April 16, Grodno. A trip for an "addition" of ALCOHOL resulted in a criminal case for a resident of Volkovysk, BelTA learned from the press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee.

In the village of Pyataki, Volkovysk District, the attention of traffic police officers was drawn to an Opel car. In order to check the documents and physical condition, the inspectors stopped the 41-year-old driver. The man had obvious signs ofalcohol intoxication , in addition, when checking the documents, it turned out that the citizen does not have the right to drive and is not the owner of the vehicle.

The citizen explained that he got behind the wheel because he needed to go for an "addition" of alcohol. From the village of Pyataki, he drove to a gas station in Volkovysk. After buying alcohol, he headed back, but was stopped by inspectors.

As the owner of the car explained, he left his Opel for repairs with a citizen detained in a drunken state. He did not give him the right to drive the vehicle.

A criminal case was opened against the resident of Volkovysk under the article "Theft", administrative protocols were drawn up by the State Traffic Inspectorate.
