A drunk driver without a license tried to escape from the traffic police in the Soligorsk region
28 October, MINSK . A drunk driver without a license behind the wheel of a motorcycle tried to escape from the traffic police in the Soligorsk district. This was reported to BELTA by the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee.
According to the traffic police, in the Soligorsk district, the attention of the road guards was attracted by a motorcyclist who was riding through the village of Ostrovki without a helmet. The man ignored the officers' demands to stop and at some point turned off the country road into a field. The attempt to escape pursuit was unsuccessful, and the offender was detained.
it turned out that the motorcycle was driven by a 53-year-old resident of Soligorsk. He did not have a driver's license, and a test showed 1.9 ppm of ALCOHOL. A number of administrative protocols were drawn up
against the man . The motorcycle was taken to the impound lot, and it was arrested. The offender was placed in a temporary detention facility.
