More than 70 accidents occurred on the roads of Minsk over the weekend

July 24, MINSK . Over the weekend, 72 accidents occurred on the roads of Minsk, one road user was injured. BelTA was informed about this by the UGAI GUVD of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

Traffic police inspectors fined 79 motorists for speeding, 142 drivers for violating the rules for crossing pedestrian crossings. State traffic inspectors stopped 38 facts of driving a car by persons who do not have a driver's license, and 24 violations of the rules for transporting children. 11 drivers were arrested for driving while intoxicated. Another 54 motorists ignored the requirement to use seat belts.

According to the traffic police, 448 pedestrians violated traffic rules, 38 of them were in a state ofALCOHOL intoxication .

The state traffic inspectorate calls on road users to respect each other and reminds that strict observance of traffic rules is a guarantee of road safety.
