September 26, Mogilev. A Mogilev resident threatened a police officer. A criminal case has been initiated against a 34-year-oldman. BELTA was informed about this by the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee.
As the Department of Internal Affairs said, the junior district inspector of the Leninsky District Department of Internal Affairs of Mogilev repeatedly went out on calls to the apartment where the defendant was registered with his parents. Based on the facts of family scandals with members of the household, the Mogilev resident was brought to administrative responsibility.“The Mogilev resident decided to take revenge on the law enforcement officer. After some time, the district police officer began to receive messages on his phone in one of the instant messengers that contained threats of violence in order to impede his legal activities. The author of the messages also called for a change in the field of work,” the Internal Affairs Directorate said.
Having studied the messages that the policeman received, experts found that they contained sufficient data indicating a crime under Art. 364 of the Criminal Code - violence or threat of violence against an internal affairs officer. The Mogilev resident was arrested. Later, the man admitted his guilt and explained that he had insulted a police officer in a state ofALCOHOL intoxication.
it was also established that the defendant had previously been brought to administrative responsibility for disobedience to the legal demands of police officers, as well as for insulting law enforcement officers.
