The Ministry of Labor reminded about security measures during the Republican subbotnik

April 13, MINSK. The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection reminded about security measures during the republican subbotnik, which will be held in Belarus on April 22, BelTA informs with reference to the press service of the ministry.

During the event, work will be carried out to improve and put in order workplaces, facilities and territories of settlements, historical and cultural values, memorial complexes, places of military and military glory during the Great Patriotic War. Compliance with safety measures will ensure safe working conditions, and employers should remember this, the Ministry of Labor noted.

it is stipulated that if employees work at their workplace during the subbotnik, healthy and safe working conditions will be provided as usual. Separate requirements arise if employees during the subbotnik work outside their workplace (that is, they are involved in the performance of one-time work not related to direct duties). In this case, it is required to conduct targeted training with employees on labor protection for the type of work performed. When landscaping is carried out on the territory of your organization, such briefing is carried out by the direct supervisor of the work of the employer. When performing work on the territory of another organization - the immediate supervisor of the work or a specialist of the organization on the territory of which the work will be carried out.

The Ministry of Labor reminded of the importance of conducting a survey of employees about their state of HEALTH during targeted training. It is also noted that employees should not be allowed to work in case of deterioration of health associated with colds or in a state of illness.

In addition, persons in a state of alcoholic or drug intoxication, workers without appropriate training, when it comes to work related to work with increased danger, workers who are not provided with personal protective equipment, are not allowed to work.

For women participating in the subbotnik, the norms for lifting and moving weights by hand must be observed - no more than 7 kg. Be sure to take measures to exclude the possibility of collision with equipment and (or) injury by moving parts of workers, in the performance of work involving tractors, excavators and other machines and mechanisms.

Attention is also drawn to the fact that workers participating in the subbotnik should be provided with the necessary tools, inventory, personal protective equipment (gloves or mittens, when working on the roadway - signal vests, when working at a construction site - protective helmets).
