Kochanova about the receptions of citizens: the main thing is a kind and attentive attitude towards people

December 8, Lida. At the forefront, when working with citizens' appeals, there should be a kind and attentive attitude towards people. This opinion was expressed today during a personal reception of citizens in Lida by Chairman of the Council of the Republic Natalya Kochanova, BelTA has learned.

Several dozen people signed up for the reception, not only from the Lida region, but also from other regions of the country. The appeals are different - from personal questions to topics related to housing, the functioning of housing and communal services, pensions and the condition of roads.

"Work with citizens' appeals in our country is carried out on a systematic basis. Personal methods allow us to analyze the situation in a particular region," Natalya Kochanova noted. At the same time, she emphasized another important role of such techniques. "A kind and attentive attitude towards people should be at the forefront. Sometimes a person just needs to be listened to. And civil servants, officials, representatives of organizations should be guided primarily by this. Then there will be full interaction with people," the Chairman of the Council of the Republic drew attention. Also, she noted, all appeals must be brought to their logical conclusion, and not send a person to go through the authorities.

Natalya Kochanova emphasized that each of the techniques has its own characteristics. For example, today several questions related to pension provision. One of the women came to the reception from Orsha. A pensioner who has been caring for her sister in another country for several years was hurt that she did not receive a full pension for the entire time she was away. Her situation will be further investigated. The pension issue will also be considered by residents of Berezovka. She moved to Belarus from Ukraine, received citizenship a few years ago. According to the woman, she has enough experience, but only the so-called social pension is accrued to her.

In addition to personal issues, more global topics were also raised. For example, one of the women came to the reception with an appeal for the reconstruction and construction of buildings on the territory of the Zhirovichi Monastery. She also drew attention to an institution selling ALCOHOL next to the shrine. The information announced during the reception, Natalya Kochanova noted, will be taken into account when making further decisions.

“I was also pleased that there were questions related specifically to our work on legislative projects. For example, requests for the possibility of registration in country houses, as well as issues related to traffic rules,” Natalia Kochanova emphasized.

In particular, representatives of a large car sharing company spoke about their problem. Several of the company's vehicles were confiscated due to the fact that they were driven by drunk repeat drivers who were illegally driving. Representatives of the company noted that some norms of legislation in this area were adopted before the appearance of such players on the market. The situation will be further investigated.

Traditionally, more mundane questions were also raised. For example, residents of the village of Yaskovtsy, Lida district, asked to fix the road and install lighting. Before the bus stop, you need to go through the forest and it is very important to highlight this particular area. At the same time, local residents say, the number of residential yards in a small village is growing. They are confident that with the improvement of infrastructure, the number of residents will increase. Local authorities took the matter under control and promised to resolve the situation.

A resident of the agricultural town of Topilishki, Shchuchinsky District, also raised the topic of the condition of the road on one of the streets where new houses were built. But in case of rain, bad weather, it is impossible to drive through it. The solution of this issue will be entrusted to the local authorities.

Today, senators are holding a single day of receptions of citizens in the executive committees of the Grodno region. In particular, Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Republic Anatoly Isachenko holds a reception of citizens in the Skidel City Executive Committee, Chairman of the Standing Commission on Legislation and State Building of the Council of the Republic Sergei Sivets - in the Ostrovets District Executive Committee, Chairman of the Standing Commission on Regional Policy and Local Self-Government of the Council of the Republic Mikhail Rusy - in the Novogrudok District Executive Committee , Chairman of the Standing Committee on Economy, Budget and Finance of the Council of the Republic Tatyana Runets - in the Grodno City Executive Committee. Also, receptions of citizens by senators were held in Korelichsky, Dyatlovsky, Mostovsky districts.

The results of the receptions will be summed up tomorrow at a meeting in Grodno. Deputies of local councils will also be invited there. According to Natalia Kochanova, it is very important that they participate as actively as possible in this work.
