Minsk traffic police fined 221 reckless drivers over the weekend

August 21, MINSK . Over the weekend, the capital's state traffic inspectors fined 221 drivers for speeding. BelTA was informed about this by the UGAI GUVD of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

Traffic police officers prevented 48 facts of driving vehicles without rights and 62 violations of the rules for transporting children. For driving a car in a stateALCOHOL intoxication traffic police detained 12 motorists. Over the weekend, traffic police inspectors attracted 146 drivers for violating the rules for passing pedestrian crossings. Another 54 motorists ignored the requirement to use seat belts.

According to the traffic police, 723 pedestrians also violated traffic rules, 39 of them were intoxicated.

The state traffic inspectorate calls on road users to respect each other and reminds that strict observance of traffic rules is a guarantee of road safety.
