Minsk traffic police fined 112 reckless drivers over the weekend

March 11, MINSK . Over the past weekend, city traffic inspectors fined 112 drivers for speeding. BelTA was informed about this by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

Over the weekend, 128 accidents occurred in Minsk, one road user was injured.

Road police detained 32 motorists for driving while intoxicated over the weekend.

During the specified period , traffic police officers stopped 66 cases of driving by unauthorized persons and 159 cases of traffic violations by taxi drivers.

Over the past weekend in Minsk, 246 drivers were brought to justice for violating the rules for crossing pedestrian crossings; another 76 motorists neglected the requirements to use seat belts.

According to the traffic police, about 500 pedestrians violated traffic rules, 57 of them were in a stateALCOHOL intoxication .

The State Traffic Inspectorate calls on road users to respect each other and reminds that strict adherence to traffic rules is the key to safety on the road.
