May 6, Mogilev. In ChausyA drunk driver tried to hide from the traffic police, a BELTA correspondent was told at the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee Department of Internal Affairs.
Near house No. 1 on Predvokzalnaya Street in the district center, a 47-year-old man driving an Audi ignored repeated demands from the traffic police to stop and tried to drive away.
The driver was unable to escape responsibility. After an examination, it turned out that the ALCOHOL content in his exhaled air was 2.4 ppm.
The violator faces a fine of 200 basic units, or Br8.4 thousand, and disqualification from driving a vehicle for a period of five years.
