Minsk . A man who threatened citizens and police officers with a knife was detained in Minsk using a weapon. BELTA was informed about this by the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
Around four in the morning, the police received several reports of an inappropriate man in the courtyard of a house in the Shabana microdistrict, who was threatening others with a knife.
Officers from the Zavodsky District Department of Internal Affairs immediately arrived at the scene. Having discovered a man with a knife in the courtyard of the house, the police demanded to calm down and throw the weapon on the ground. The aggressive man ignored repeated
demands from law enforcement officers, brandished a knife and headed in their direction, posing a real threat to life and
HEALTH. A warning shot was fired into the air, then at the legs of the attacker.
The man was given first aid and handed over to doctors.
The attacker, a 34-year-old Minsk resident, had previously been repeatedly brought to criminal liability, including for hooliganism, as well as administrative liability for appearing in a public place in a state of disrepair.
