Livestock breeders of Kabardino-Balkaria prepare cattle for the summer pasture season

In Kabardino-Balkaria, the summer-pasture period of keeping livestock traditionally begins in May.
To date, the main diagnostic, veterinary preventive and anti-epizootic measures are being taken to prepare farm animals for being on distant pastures.
Last year, more than 45 thousand HEAD of cattle, over 90 thousand head of sheep, 5.5 thousand horses were kept on the mountain pastures of the republic. The summer-pasture season - 2021 passed as usual.
