Livestock complex LLC "Reya" Karachay-Cherkessia increased the number of cattle

Recall that the implementation of the project started in February 2018 and in November of the same year the facility was put into operation. In 2018, the first batch of heifers from Denmark was imported - 475 heads, in 2019 another 442 heads.
At the moment, the forage livestock of cattle is 1300 heads.
The breed of cows is Holstein, which is one of the largest breeds of dairy cattle. This breed is distinguished by a high MILK yield,
high adaptation to various climatic conditions, as well as resistance to diseases and cleanliness.
The live weight of cows is 670-700 kg, bulls - 960-1200 kg. Breeding reproducer plans to expand forage stock by January 2024 to 1,450 heads
The Ministry of Agriculture of the KChR periodically inspects the complex. The day before, the HEAD of the department of animal husbandry and breeding of the Ministry of Agriculture of the KChR, Hasan Khamkhoev, inspected the production site of the livestock complex.
All calves of the complex are kept in accordance with zootechnical requirements. Feeding is carried out in accordance with the regulations. 100% feed supply.
A parallel milking machine is used, which ensures the automation of the milking process and the establishment of a high throughput.
Machine milking of cows in accordance with the standards is carried out in several stages: from 5 am to 1 pm; from 13:00 to 21:00 and from 21:00 to 05:00.
Milk production at the current date is more than 14 thousand tons per year, which is twice as high as at the initial stage of the complex. Milk is sold to one of the largest milk processing enterprises in Karachay-Cherkessia, Firma Saturn LLC.
