The dairy rivers of Udmurtia continue to expand - the results of the work of the dairy cattle breeding industry for 2021 have been summed up in the regional Ministry of Agriculture.
49 thousand tons - this is how much the volume of MILK production in the active sector increased in 2021 compared to the level of 2020, dairy cattle breeding in Udmurtia showed an increase of 6%.
Agricultural organizations and farms of the republic milked only 859.1 thousand tons of milk and provided processors with high-quality raw materials in the amount of 785.9 thousand tons. Here the growth rate was 5.8%. The marketability of raw milk reached 91.5%.
At the same time, 50% of gross milk yields form six rural areas of the republic. it is impossible to overestimate the contribution and professional skills of the livestock breeders of the Vavozhsky district - they provide the most significant share of 10.4% in the total “feeding”. Sharkansky district - 8.5%, Mozhginsky - 7.1%, Alnashsky - 6.6%, Uvinsky - 6.2% and Balezinsky - 5.8%.
Leaders are traditionally identified in four areas of activity. The republican rating for gross milk production is headed by the Vavozhsky district, where 89.2 thousand tons of milk were produced last year. There is another leading position behind the Vavozhsky livestock breeders - in terms of sales of marketable milk (83.6 thousand tons). The leader in the growth of gross milk yield was the Kiyasovsky district of the republic - here the livestock breeders achieved a production growth of 17.7%. Kiyasovtsy also achieved the industry's highest increase in marketable milk sales - 16.2%.
The plan for 2022 is to produce 902.1 thousand tons of milk in the public sector. Now in the agricultural organizations of the republic, the average daily milk yield per cow is 20.7 kg of milk (in 2021 for this period - 20.4 kg).
