Over the past year, other products of the agro-industrial complex were exported from the territory of the region for 42.5 million US dollars . This is 5% more than in 2020.
The structure of exports was distributed as follows: pasta was exported in the amount of 8.7 million US dollars, wool for 3.7 million US dollars, processed fruits and vegetables - 1.9 million US dollars. At the same time, bran was exported in the amount of 2.8 million US dollars, spirits in the amount of 562 thousand US dollars, flax seeds and other oil crops in the amount of 2.75 million US dollars. Also, the EXPORT of other industrial goods amounted to 20.5 million US dollars.
The largest increase in export volumes is noted for the following goods: processed fruits and vegetables by 43%, alcohols - 17.5%, animal feed - 44%, flax seeds and other oilseeds were exported 5 times more.
“Georgia, Armenia and CHINA remain the main foreign economic partners of Stavropol for the export of other agricultural products,” commented Dmitry Frolko, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory.
