Last year, the Stavropol Territory entered the top five regions in terms of the largest volume of exports of agricultural products, ranking fourth. This, in turn, was facilitated by the existing support measures in the development of this area. The Russian Federation is implementing a whole range of state support measures for agricultural producers of the agro-industrial complex, which are aimed at increasing efficiency and increasing the competitiveness of food products.
In the Stavropol Territory, within the framework of the regional project "Export of agricultural products", 233.3 million rubles were allocated last year for EXPORT reclamation, at the expense of which 4 projects were subsidized in the Krasnogvardeisky, Ipatovsky, Novoaleksandrovsky, Apanasenkovsky districts for a total of 529.26 million rubles, the percentage of compensation amounted to 44%.
For 2022, the amount of funding amounted to 386.9 million rubles, including: 365.6 million rubles for export reclamation, 7 million rubles to ensure an increase in the volume of oilseeds, and 14.3 million rubles to compensate for the costs of accreditation of veterinary laboratories.
In order to attract federal support measures, the ministry is cooperating with the representative office of the Russian Export Center OJSC, which provides an opportunity for exporters to compensate for the costs of transporting more supplies of agricultural products.
“Exporters have begun to use state support measures more actively. In total, sixteen services were provided to 10 exporters of the region last year. The most popular support measures were compensation for the costs of transportation of agricultural products, compensation for the costs of patenting abroad. And participation in international exhibitions allowed regional enterprises to conclude export contracts for certain types of products,” said Dmitry Frolko, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory.
