Harvesting campaign launched in Penza region

Agricultural producers of the Penza region have started a harvesting campaign. Harvesting started in 19 districts of the Penza region.
The farms of Bashmakovskiy, Bekovsky, Belinsky, Zemetchinsky, Kamensky, Kameshkirsky, Kolyshleysky, M. Serdobinsky, Mokshansky, Nizhnelomovsky, Pachelmsky, Penza Serdobsky, Tamalinsky, Shemysheysky, Bessonovsky, Luninsky districts of the Penza region were the first to start work in the region.
As of the reporting date, field work is being carried out in 19 districts of the region. According to the regional agronomic services, agricultural producers have begun harvesting grain and leguminous crops, industrial crops, potatoes and vegetables.
This year, agricultural enterprises have started the harvesting campaign in full readiness. In the Penza region, farms are provided with agricultural machinery, mineral fertilizers, fuel and lubricants and labor reserves.
In 2022, it is planned that the harvest of grain and leguminous crops will amount to 2.5 million tons. SUGAR beet harvest - 2.2 million tons.
Spring sowing was carried out in full this year. All sown areas have been increased by 56.7 thousand hectares, including due to the ongoing work on putting land into circulation. This year it will continue, it is planned to put into circulation 17 thousand hectares. In 2022, the sowing areas for cereals and legumes, oil flax and soybeans were increased.
