The best operators of artificial insemination of cows were determined in the Novosibirsk region

30 livestock breeders from 17 districts of the region took part in the regional competition for the best in the profession among operators of artificial insemination of cattle, which was held on August 11 and 12 at the Novosibirsk Hippodrome. The best inseminators based on the results of three stages of testing were determined by a professional jury.
The competition was opened by Viktor Apanasenko, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Novosibirsk Region. Welcoming the participants, he noted that such a progressive method of reproduction of farm animals as artificial insemination has been used in our region for several decades and shows high efficiency.
“Currently, artificial insemination is used in more than 170 farms in the region, it covers 82% of the dairy cow population, and this figure is constantly growing. The efficiency of insemination is also growing, the yield of calves is increasing, - Viktor Apanasenko emphasized. “In addition, the MILK productivity of the dairy herd is significantly increasing in the region from year to year, the volume of gross milk production is growing - this is also associated with the use of artificial insemination of animals, because with its help the selection improvement of the herd is carried out at a high pace, the genetics of outstanding producers are used to the maximum. In terms of milk production, our region is now among the leaders in RUSSIA and the first in the Siberian Federal District and beyond the Urals.”
The Deputy Minister wished the participants successful completion of the tests, noting that each of them had come a long professional way and deserved to win.
The competition included two competitive days, and included several stages, from checking theoretical knowledge and practical skills to working in the laboratory.
The results are as follows: in the team standings, the team of the Kolyvansky district became the leader, the second place was taken by the team of the Ordynsky district, the third - by the Iskitimsky district.
In the age category up to 30 years, Dmitry Teterin (Sibirskaya Niva LLC, Maslyaninsky District) became the best inseminator, Lidia Privezentseva (Skala CJSC, Kolyvansky District) was in second place, Viktor Kuzmin (Konstantinovskoye LLC, Tatar region).
In the age category from 30 to 45 years, the places were distributed as follows: Irina Novoselova (Tolmachevskoye LLC, Novosibirsky District), Galina Ostapenko (Russian Field Farm LLC, Kargatsky District), Nadezhda Pospelova (Nadezhda LLC, Bagansky District) .
Among the operators over the age of 45, the winner was Natalya Popova (UCHHOZ Tulinskoye LLC, Novosibirsky District), Oleg Arkhipov (Sibirskaya Niva LLC, Maslyaninsky District) took second place, and Ruzalia Tovarisheva (Skala CJSC, Kolyvansky District) came third ).
