In Kuzbass, the productivity of cows in agricultural organizations and peasant farms increased in 2023

According to the results of the work of the livestock sector in Kuzbass in 2022, 277.8 thousand tons of MILK were produced in all categories of farms. Its main volume falls on large-scale production. 172.9 thousand tons of milk or 62% were produced by agricultural producers.
Despite the reduction in the number of cows, the livestock breeders of the region are actively working to increase their productivity. In 2023, in agricultural organizations and peasant farms, this indicator increased by 296 kg, 5853 kg of milk was received from one HEAD.
Helps to increase milk production, and also contributes to the development of the industry, improving product quality and improving the welfare of rural residents, and government support for agriculture in the form of subsidies.
In 2023, 45 agricultural producers in the region received a subsidy to reimburse part of the costs to support milk production, the total amount of which amounted to 140.7 million rubles.
