The 20th regional competition of operators to improve the breed qualities of cattle was held at the Uyar Agricultural College. Professional competitions were held in five nominations. The participants were 18 specialists from agricultural enterprises and regional departments of veterinary medicine of the region.
The commission evaluated the practical and theoretical knowledge of the contestants, production indicators for the output of calves, as well as work with reporting documentation and accounting for farm animals.
The best result in the nomination "Absolute Champion" was shown by Irina Pavlova from CJSC "Nazarovskoye" of the Nazarovsky district. The woman has been in the profession for ten years now, following in the footsteps of her mother, who also works as an operator at CJSC Nazarovskoye and shows good results. The second place was taken by Olesya Kulymova from ZAO Svetlolobovskoye, Novoselovsky district, the third place was taken by Larisa Bashkyrova from OAO Breeding Plant Krasny Mayak, Kansky district.
Lyudmila Chudakova from the Uyar Veterinary Department became the best operator for the reproduction of the herd in the personal subsidiary plots of the villagers. Second place in this nomination went to Olga Dolgikh from the Rybinsk Veterinary Department.
Yulia Smashnaya from CJSC Bolsheurinskoye, Kansky District, was recognized as the operator with the best reproduction performance. The first place in the nomination "Veteran in the field of reproduction" went to Nikolai Zhuravlev from CJSC "Avdinskoe" of the Uyar region. Mlada Shkulova from CJSC Imissskoye, Kuraginsky district, won in the Youngest Operator nomination.
The winners and prize-winners were awarded diplomas and cash prizes. The prize fund of the competition from the budget of the region amounted to 479 thousand rubles.
“Thanks to your efforts, the Krasnoyarsk Territory is among the leaders among the regions of Siberia in terms of calf yield, their viability, and the increase in MILK productivity of cows. The average daily milk yield in the region today is 19.4 kg of milk per cow, which is one kilogram more compared to the same period last year. In agricultural enterprises of the region, an average of 6,191 kg of milk per year is obtained from a cow,” said Ilya Vasilyev, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Trade of the region.
In August of this year, Irina Pavlova and Olesya Kulymova will represent the region at the 16th All-Russian competition of operators for the reproduction of a herd of cattle, which will be held in Udmurtia.
In the region, such competitions are held once every two years to increase the prestige of the profession, the skills of specialists and material incentives for their work.
