This year, 90 million rubles are provided for Agrostartup grants for the creation and development of small businesses in the countryside, which is one and a half times more than a year earlier. The competition will be held under the national project "Small and medium-sized businesses and support for individual entrepreneurial initiatives" for the fourth time. Grants will be received by at least 18 starting farmers of the region.
The competition is held for farmers and individual entrepreneurs who registered a farm in the year of participation in the selection, as well as for those who only plan to produce or process agricultural products. The Ministry of Agriculture of the Territory will start accepting applications for the competition no earlier than June. Those who want to win the selection have time to prepare for it.
"Grant "Agrostartup" - support for entrepreneurs at the stage of formation of their business. To receive state assistance, it is necessary to invest at least 10% of your own funds in the business, and if you successfully pass the selection process, you must create at least one job in the countryside. This competition is the most popular among the farmers of the region: every year from 50 to 80 applicants apply for it. This year, grant assistance to start-up rural entrepreneurs is the maximum for the entire time the region has participated in the national project. We will continue to work on increasing support from the budgets of different levels,” said Leonid Shorokhov, Deputy Chairman of the Krai Government – Minister of Agriculture and Trade.
Regional farmers can receive from 3 to 6 million rubles to start a business, depending on the agricultural sector they plan to develop, as well as participation in cooperative activities.
The grant is provided for the purchase of land plots from agricultural land, equipment, farm animals (except for pigs), poultry, fish seed, agricultural machinery, special vehicles, as well as the development of project documentation, construction, repair or reconstruction of premises for the production, storage and processing of agricultural products. A year and a half is given for spending the grant.
