The only poultry complex in Ingushetia for the cultivation and deep processing of turkey MEAT "Yuzhny" in 2022 will begin construction of the second stage of the enterprise - a plant for the production of mixed feed, said at a business conference in Magas with representatives of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Rostov-on-Don, the general DIRECTOR of the enterprise Adam Kostoev.
“Today, the first stage is already functioning, it is 5.5 thousand tons of meat and deep processing, which includes butchering, sausage, sausages, bastroma and so on. This year we are starting the construction of the second stage, this is our own feed mill and 20 poultry houses, after which the capacity of the enterprise will be increased to 12-13 thousand tons. Today we carry out deliveries to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara, Penza, Rostov-on-Don, these regions are our main buyers. In the near future we plan to enter the market of Uzbekistan,” Kostoev said.
According to him, at the moment the company buys eggs from Russian producers, but plans to start buying them in CANADA from 2023.
“We buy a breeding egg, incubate it into a chicken, then transfer the chickens to the rearing site, from there, after 42 days, the birds are transferred to the rearing site, and then go to slaughter. At the end of last year, we launched a meat processing plant that feeds poultry in strict accordance with the halal standard, we do not use meat and bone or fish meal in compound feeds, since these products are considered dubious by halal standards. The project was built in strict compliance with environmental, biological and sanitary standards,” added the general director of the poultry complex.
The implementation of the project through the North Caucasus Development Corporation was launched in 2017, its cost is 3.8 billion rubles. After the construction is completed, the complex will annually produce 10.2 thousand tons of meat in live weight.
