Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Belarus –Agriculture Minister Ilshat Fazrakhmanov is on a working visit to harvest sites, which is gaining momentum in the region.
The event was also a debut for Sergei Postovalov, a member of the SVO and a finalist in the "Heroes of Bashkortostan" program. He received training in management methods and technologies, and will now gain practical public service skills at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic under the mentorship of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Bashkortostan and Minister of Agriculture.
In the Karmaskalinsky District, the HEAD of the regional agricultural agency was shown the largest modern grain elevator in the Republic. This investment project, included in the list of priority projects, was implemented by the Urozhai agricultural holding company and cost 2.6 billion rubles. The elevator, with a capacity of 122,000 tons of grain, is already operational, despite the ongoing construction. After all, the harvest has already begun.
"Such modern, high-tech facilities significantly reduce farmers' dependence on weather conditions, as they don't have to wait for the grain to dry in the field; they can harvest as soon as the combines are able to enter the field," said Ilshat Fazrakhmanov.
Radik Rafikov, head of the agroholding, noted that the farm previously lost significant funds due to a lack of storage capacity.
"We were forced to store some of the grain directly in the field, after processing it at other elevators," he said. "This led to a decrease in the purchase price . This will no longer happen."
The working visit continued to the fields of the Karmaskalinsky, Davlekanovsky, and Chishminsky districts.
As a reminder, the harvest season is in full swing in the republic. Farmers are currently actively harvesting winter wheat and rye. A number of farms have begun harvesting spring grains and legumes.
