Harvesting campaign in the Republic of Bashkortostan is in full swing, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus - Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov noted at the operational meeting of the Government of the region, which was held today by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Andrey Nazarov. At the same time, the region's farmers are completing fodder harvesting, grain crops are being harvested, and winter crops - rye and wheat - are being planted.
Today, more than 42% of the area of ​​grain and leguminous crops has been mowed, 40% of the area or 746 thousand hectares has been threshed. The farms harvested 2 million 104 thousand tons of grain, of which 766 thousand tons - during the past week. The average yield of grain and leguminous crops was 30 q/ha.
The Vice Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus - Minister of Agriculture named Sterlitamaksky, Ilishevsky, Aurgazinsky, Davlekanovsky, Karmaskalinsky and Chekmagushevsky districts as leaders in the threshing of grain and leguminous crops. He stressed that the harvesting of winter grain crops is being completed in the region. To date, about 240 thousand hectares have been threshed, and 730 thousand tons of grain have been harvested. The average yield of winter crops in 2022 was 31.8 c/ha, for comparison, in 2021 the figure was 15.8 c/ha, in 2020 - 28.7 c/ha. Separate farms of the region have started harvesting rapeseed, flax and mustard, of which more than 9 thousand tons have been harvested. Practically in all districts of the republic, spring grain crops are being harvested, more than 500 thousand hectares of which have been threshed, this is a third of the plan. Grain growers harvested about 1 million 376 thousand tons of spring grain, or 29.2 centners per hectare.
In parallel, in 41 districts of the republic, they started sowing winter crops. Today, 67 thousand hectares have been sown, Ilshat Fazrakhmanov noted. The forage harvesting campaign also continues. Farmers have prepared 800 thousand tons of hay and more than 1 million 522 thousand tons of haylage, which is more than 22 centners of feed units per conditional HEAD of livestock, and silage is now gaining momentum. In 13 districts, the laying of succulent fodder is already in full swing.
