On December 14, the parties held a meeting in a remote format and signed a Cooperation Agreement.

According to the document, Ural State Agrarian University (Yekaterinburg, RUSSIA ) and Shihezi University (Shihezi, CHINA), in order to strengthen international cooperation and exchange in the field of education, agreed to cooperate in terms of academic exchange of students and faculty, as well as conducting joint research work.

In particular, the parties agreed to send teachers and students to each other for training and exchange of experience, hire experts as visiting professors, exchange scientific and educational materials, conduct joint research projects, while using the material and technical base of both universities, participate in international conferences and seminars, publish joint articles and monographs.

During the online meeting, the parties got acquainted with each other's research areas and discussed the prospects for joint cooperation.

On behalf of the Ural State Agrarian University, the negotiations were attended by: Rector O.G. Loretz, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation M.Yu. Karpukhin, HEAD of the Department of Publishing and Rating Activities V.S. Kukhar, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Technologies M.L. Yusupov, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technologies and Land Management S.A. Malanichev, Head of the Department of International Educational Programs E.A. Sosnovsky.

Shihezi University was represented at the meeting by Rector Dai Bing, Vice Rector Ma Chunhui, Head of the Department of International Exchange and Cooperation Wang Li and other Chinese colleagues.

In terms of international cooperation with China, Ural State Agrarian University already has business relations with Northeast Agricultural University (Harbin) and Yunnan Agricultural University (Kunming).
