Ural State Agrarian University entered the TOP-100 Russian universities

On the eve of the start of the admission campaign, the National Aggregated Ranking of Russian Universities has been published, which includes 694 educational organizations.
The Ural State Agrarian University entered the first league of the list - TOP-100 Russian universities and thus took the second place among the higher educational institutions of Yekaterinburg, losing only to the Ural Federal University.
Compared to previous years, USAU strengthened its performance and took high positions in such criteria as international and research activities, quality of education, employment of graduates and publication activity of the teaching staff.
“The achievement of these indicators and the current position was preceded by a comprehensive analysis of the activities of the university, starting with the educational process and ending with the availability of infrastructure for people with disabilities. Based on the identified points of growth, development plans were drawn up, some of which have already been implemented. it was a consistent and comprehensive approach to development that provided the current rating and confidence in the further strengthening of the position of the university in the region, as well as among all agricultural universities in the country,” said Viktor Stanislavovich Kukhar, HEAD of the Department of Publishing and Rating Activities of USAU.
The National Aggregate Ranking was created by the Guild of Vocational Education Experts in cooperation with the National Innovation Support Fund. It is built on the basis of the results of 11 popular and authoritative rankings that meet the requirements of publicity (complete information is publicly available), stability (there are at least three years), mass character (at least 100 universities are evaluated) and periodicity (assessment is carried out annually). This includes the National University Ranking - Interfax, the First Mission rating (based on the Best Educational Programs of Innovative RUSSIA project), the RAEX university rankings, the Hirsch index rating, the Performance Monitoring rating, the Education Quality Assessment rating, the results of professional and public accreditation, rating "International recognition",
This tool allows the applicant to understand the palette of national rankings, choose a worthy university in their region, and universities to analyze achievements and build strategies for further development.
