State Duma deputy from the Lipetsk region Tatyana Dyakonova visited the Lebedyansky district and discussed with the leadership of one of the largest horticultural farms in the region ZAO Agrofirma named after 15 years of October how external restrictions affected the work of the enterprise.
"Agricultural firm named after 15 years of October" is known far beyond the Lebedyansky district. Last year, they got a record harvest for themselves - more than 32 thousand tons of apples, and there are plans to increase production. Now the farm has 600 hectares of young orchards. In a couple of years, they will begin to bear fruit and the farm will reach a record productivity.
“This year, there are good prospects for the harvest, we will harvest about 40,000 tons,” said Nikolai Eremeev, chairman of the board of directors of CJSC AF named after 15 years of October. - This year alone, 260 hectares of orchards were planted using intensive technology with drip irrigation. We launched two new storage facilities for eight thousand tons and are preparing another shop for commodity processing. And this work will continue. In the short term, we will reach 50-60 thousand tons of fruit products per year. We are ready not only to fill the domestic market with our products, but also to EXPORT them.”
Relevant for Lipetsk gardeners are the issues of replacing imported seedlings with domestic ones, servicing foreign equipment, and state support. There is also an unresolved staffing problem. According to Nikolai Eremeev, the company can hire 200 people, and 70 of them can get an apartment.
Tatyana Dyakonova noted that food security is more important today than ever. “The development of such an industry as horticulture directly affects the level of food security of the country as a whole,” said Tatyana Dyakonova. “The HEALTH of our nation, the level of life expectancy of Russians depends on what we grow, what quality products we have on our tables.”
Therefore, the Deputy of the State Duma is sure, it is necessary to support such wonderful farms, where the whole Eremeev dynasty has achieved success - father, son and now grandson work hand in hand.
“All three packages of laws adopted by the State Duma are aimed at supporting commodity producers,” said Tatyana Dyakonova at the end of the trip. - Today I heard a request from this farm to change the distribution of taxes in such a way that more funds remain in the region. Then strong business executives, young entrepreneurs and residents of the territory will experience serious changes for the better.”
