In the Tomsk region, the working group of the department for socio-economic development of the village monitors the implementation of business projects of farmers who have received grants for the development of their business.
This week the department's specialists visited peasant farms and cooperatives - grant recipients of the Pervomaisky district.
One of them, farmer Sergey Shamparov, the recipient of the Novice Farmer 2019 grant, increased the number of cattle from 21 to 115 in two years. There are cattle pens and livestock buildings built on the farm. The grant funds are used to purchase livestock and equipment (electronic scales, reader, electric shepherd).
In the agricultural cooperative "Krestyansky", located in the Pervomaisky village of Sergeevo, in April-May of this year, they plan to launch a processing dairy shop with a capacity of up to 5,000 liters per day. MILK , cottage cheese, sour cream, drinking yoghurts will be produced at the new production site .
Now the cooperative is installing equipment, negotiating with potential suppliers of raw materials, and working out sales points. According to the chairman of the cooperative, Roman Kibisov, there are already agreements for the sale of products in the stores of Asinovsky, Verkhneketsky and Pervomaisky districts.
In the same village of Sergeevo, the farm of Alexey Plisko, a grant recipient in 2018, is located. The farmer cultivates 100 hectares of land on which he grows fodder and grain crops to support his MEAT farm. The plans include the expansion of agricultural land through the commissioning of undeveloped land.
In another Pervomaiysky cooperative, Vek (Novomariinka village), in 2021, with the support of the budget, a modular-type slaughterhouse with a full set of equipment was built. Its capacity after the launch will allow slaughtering at least five heads of cattle per day, all livestock breeders of the district will be able to use the services of the cooperative.
Last year's grantee, the Volkov family farm, where Herefords are bred, horse and sheep are also bred, is going to increase the area under crops. The farm plans to add another 150 hectares to the cultivated 730 hectares and thereby increase the gross grain harvest to 2440 tons by 2025.
With the help of the grant, farmers plan to purchase new machinery and equipment (combine, tractor, sowing complex and attachments). An advance payment for the tractor has already been made, negotiations are underway to purchase the Akros-585 combine.
“Under the terms of the grants, within five years, all farmers and cooperatives must increase the volume of production and sale of agricultural products, create new jobs. The farmers of the Pervomaisky district are successfully coping with the tasks set by the business plan,” said Alexander Savenko, deputy HEAD of the department for socio-economic development of the village.
