The delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov are on a working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan .
As part of the working visit, Marat Zyabbarov met with the Vice Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Amangaliy Berdalin the previous evening.
The Vice Minister noted that interaction in the agricultural sector is one of the priority areas of cooperation between the countries and spoke about the potential of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"Meat clusters with a full cycle are being created, starting from the procurement of feed to the sale of finished products. Based on Australian experience, in the next 2 years it is planned to build 6 feedlots with a capacity of 98 thousand heads of cattle , a fattening complex for 50 thousand heads of small cattle, as well as the first specialized cattle exchange. The Ministry provides full support for each project. The priority area for us is deep processing of agricultural products. We are interested in creating joint ventures in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” noted Amangaliy Berdalin.
According to the results of 2024, the turnover of agricultural products with Kazakhstan amounted to 73.4 million US dollars . The parties also noted their interest in increasing trade in agricultural products.
During the visit, representatives of the Republic of Tatarstan got acquainted with the activities of Shchuchinsky Gormolzavod LLP, which specializes in breeding beef cattle . The company is actively developing the MEAT industry, improving the quality of products and introducing innovative approaches to feeding and fattening cattle for 10 thousand heads. Fattening stages include: MILK feeding for up to 6 months, grazing on pastures with perennial grass for up to 10-12 months and balanced grain fattening for 180 days until a weight gain of 550 kg.
