Tambov farmers transferred cows to summer grazing

Farmers of the Tambov region and small agricultural enterprises of the region, specializing in the breeding of dairy cattle, transferred the animals to summer-pasture keeping.
The so-called summer camps for cows are equipped with everything necessary - automated milking systems, refrigeration equipment, and a water supply system.
Note that the proper organization of cow grazing increases their productivity. More than half of the annual MILK production falls on the summer-pasture period. Moreover, according to experts, compared with the winter period, the cost of feeding and servicing animals in summer camps is reduced significantly.
According to the Department of Agriculture of the Tambov Region, over 5 months of 2022, agricultural enterprises in the region produced more than 33 thousand tons of milk, which is 5% more than last year.
