FGBI "ARRIAH" specialists took part in a meeting on import substitution of vaccines for the prevention of animal and bird diseases

On May 26, 2022, a meeting on the issues of import substitution of vaccines for the prevention of animal and bird diseases was held on the basis of the Office of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR for the Oryol and Kursk regions in the city of Orel.

The event was attended by A.V. Kononov, HEAD of the Commercial Service Department of the FGBI “ARRIAH” A.V. Borisov, DIRECTOR of the branches of the FSBI "CNMVL" A.V. Yakovlev, E.A. Davydov, representatives of the largest livestock enterprises of the Central Federal District: Miratorg-Kursk LLC, Agropromkomplektatsiya-Kursk LLC, Selkhozinvest LLC, Orelagroyug JSC, Znamensky SGC LLC, Cherkizovo-Pig Breeding LLC.

The meeting was held by the Deputy Head of the Department of Rosselkhoznadzor L.L. Lasers. He noted the particular importance of the task of ensuring the veterinary well-being and food security of the country's regions in the new geopolitical situation.

The meeting participants discussed ways of cooperation in terms of introducing domestically produced vaccines as part of the import substitution program on the basis of large pig and livestock farms in the Oryol and Kursk regions.

FGBI ARRIAH specialists spoke about the product line, new developments, scientific and technical potential of the institution. On specific examples, they demonstrated the principles of the Center's work with business entities.

In turn, representatives of livestock farms shared their own experience of working with immunobiological preparations and expressed their proposals for cooperation.

Based on the results of the meeting, the participants identified ways for further dialogue aimed at introducing into the farms modern means of specific prevention of domestic production, including autoimmune vaccines developed and produced on the basis of the FGBI "ARRIAH".

it is planned to hold meetings of FGBI "ARRIAH" specialists with representatives of large pig and cattle breeding farms to study vaccination schemes and the possibility of forming roadmaps for the introduction into economic practice of vaccines developed and produced for a particular organization, taking into account the strategy of antibiotic resistance, with an assessment of effectiveness and further scientific support .
