In the course of the implementation of the Schedule for conducting advanced training courses for 2022, two employees of the Branch of the Federal Center for Animal HEALTH subordinated to ROSSELKHOZNADZOR in the Republic of Crimea were trained under the advanced training program "Radiation Safety and Radiation Control", organized online by a Private Institution additional professional education "Training center Amplitude" (Moscow). The training was conducted in the form of a webinar using remote technologies, with the participation of practitioners: engineers and experts with many years of experience in this field, each of which revealed the following relevant topics:
- Basic concepts of radiometry, dosimetry and spectrometry. Metrological aspects of radiation control.
- Review of radiochemical techniques for food, water, vegetation and soil.
- Work with the program "Progress". New features of the Progress 5.2 program.
- Dosimetry of ionizing radiation.
- Accreditation of testing laboratories. Accreditation procedure, basic requirements. GOST iso/IEC 17025-2019.
- Normative base of radiation safety. Documents and requirements of Rostekhnadzor.
The result of the training was a test certification confirming the acquired knowledge that will be used in the course of research in the sector of radiological research and ELISA of the food safety laboratory of the Laboratory and Diagnostic Center of the FGBI “ARRIAH” Branch in the Republic of Crimea.
At the end of the training, participants were issued certificates of advanced training in the amount of 72 hours.
