Sunflower sowing started in Stavropol

Sunflower is the most important oilseed crop of domestic agriculture. it accounts for more than 73% of the sown area of ​​all oilseeds in the Stavropol Territory.
Specialists of the Ipatovsky district department of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Rosselkhoztsentr" in the Stavropol Territory checked 25% of the seed material from the sowing plan. All seeds are conditioned and meet the requirements of GOST.
This year, the region's farmers plan to sow more than 15,000 hectares of sunflower seeds. The need for seed material and plant protection products is completely closed.
To date, a sowing campaign has started in the Ipatovsky district. Sunflower seeds have already been sown on an area of ​​2140 hectares, which is 14% of the plan.
Favorable weather conditions and an optimal supply of moisture in a meter-long layer of soil will contribute to friendly seedlings of the crop.
