Farm animals of Kabardino-Balkaria transferred to grazing

In Kabardino-Balkaria, the summer grazing season started on June 1 - farm animals were transferred to grazing.
According to the Department of Veterinary Medicine of the Republic, about 33 thousand heads of cattle, over 102 thousand heads of sheep and more than 5.5 thousand horses are kept on distant pastures this year.
The total number of farm animals currently on pastures, on average, corresponds to last year's number. Sending animals to pastures continues.
In order to pass the pasture season in the normal mode, the specialists of the Veterinary Department carried out the main veterinary and preventive measures in a timely manner.
The grazing period is very important for farm animals - they are active, consume only fresh food, thereby strengthening their HEALTH.
For owners, this is cost-effective. There is no need to spend money on feed, while the MILK yield increases significantly, the nutritional value of MEAT increases, and the slaughter yield increases.
As a rule, the pasture season lasts several months and ends in autumn.
