Agricultural and consumer cooperatives in the Ivanovo region will be supported by subsidies and grants

This year, the budget of the Ivanovo region provides one and a half times more funds to support farming and cooperation than last year.
In total, almost 155 million rubles will be spent on this direction, state support funds in the amount of 48.2 million rubles are provided for the development of cooperation alone. They will be sent to cooperatives in the form of grants and subsidies to reimburse part of the costs incurred in the current year.
Currently, the regional department of agriculture and food is accepting documents for the payment of subsidies to agricultural consumer cooperatives. The expenses for the purchase of agricultural machinery and equipment, which are contributed to the indivisible fund of the cooperative, are subject to reimbursement; the costs of acquiring property for the purpose of its subsequent transfer to the ownership of members of the cooperative; the cost of paying lease payments for equipment necessary for storage, processing, packaging, labeling of agricultural products. The costs of purchasing agricultural products from members of the cooperative and the costs of purchasing livestock in order to replace a herd that is sick or infected with leukemia are also subject to reimbursement.
In addition to subsidies for agricultural consumer cooperatives, grant support is provided. The competition commission has already determined one cooperative-winner from the Lukhsky district: at the expense of a grant in the amount of 4.2 million rubles and own funds, equipment for drying grain crops will be purchased here. The project will create new jobs in rural areas. The remaining funds for grant support of cooperation will be distributed in May.

By uniting in cooperatives, it is not only easier for farmers to sell their products, but they also manage to optimize the costs of modern and efficient agricultural machinery and equipment,” said Denis Cherkesov, HEAD of the Department of Agriculture and Food of the Ivanovo Region.
