In Kabardino-Balkaria in 2021, according to preliminary data from the North Caucasus State Statistics Service, the gross harvest of fruits and berries amounted to 535.5 thousand tons, or 103.5% by 2020.
The increase in production volumes is primarily due to the high rates of laying modern intensive orchards and nurseries on an innovative basis. Traditionally, Kabardino-Balkaria is one of the three leading regions in this area.
