Ryazan agrarians procure feed for livestock

Agricultural enterprises and farmers of 17 districts started mowing grass.
As of June 15, 23,000 hectares of natural and sown grasses have been mowed, which is 17% of the planned area. 105 thousand tons of haylage (23% of the planned) and 3 thousand tons of hay (3%) were harvested.
Haymaking is most active in Kasimovsky, Rybnovsky, Ryazansky, Pitelinsky and Starozhilovsky districts.
In 2023, in the Ryazan region, it is planned to continue to increase the production of all types of fodder: succulent, coarse, mixed fodder and others, as the herd of farm animals in the region increases. So, in 2022, the number of cattle increased by 0.7%, pigs - by 22%, poultry - by 20%.
