According to the results of six months, agricultural production increased by 13.7%. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Konstantin Rachalovsky during a working trip to the Tselinsky district. As part of the visit, the HEAD of the Don Ministry of Agriculture and Food visited the leading agricultural enterprise of the district and region, and also inspected the progress of construction work at one of the infrastructure facilities in the village of Tselina, which are being carried out thanks to the state program "Integrated Development of Rural Territories".
During a visit to the Kirovsky Stud Farm, the head of the agricultural enterprise drew attention to the fact that this year the average yield of grain crops has increased. Based on the results of the harvest of early crops completed on the farm in 2022, it amounted to 80.9 centners per hectare, which is 10 centners more than last year.
“This is achieved in the only possible way - by observing high-intensity technology and daily increasing labor productivity,” said Vladimir Cherkezov, General DIRECTOR of Kirovsky Stud Farm LLC. - Modern technologies allow growing high-quality seed material. Every year we sow more than 20 varieties and reproductions of specialized institutes in the Rostov Region and the Krasnodar Territory.”
Konstantin Rachalovsky also visited the mehtok with elite and superelite varieties and got acquainted with the work of the seed line of the agricultural enterprise.
“It is important, including in the field of import substitution, that the farm is engaged in elite seed production,” the Minister of Agriculture emphasized. - In the Rostov region, four federal state scientific institutions carry out activities on selection and primary seed production of crops. Also, 44 organizations are engaged in seed production. The annual production of seeds on the Don is about 100 thousand tons. This year, 360 million rubles are provided to support elite seed production.”
In addition, the Kirov Stud Farm continues to develop dairy farming. The head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food got acquainted with the work of the "veal village".
“We have been using this productive method of growing young animals since 2019,” said Marina Nosalenko, Deputy General Director of the agricultural enterprise. - Keeping in the houses ensures compliance with an individual approach to feeding and excludes contact of animals with each other, so the risk of infection is minimized. This has a positive effect on the HEALTH of animals and, as a result, on their productivity.”
Currently, the farm has more than 1,600 head of cattle, including 735 cows. Over the past three years, the average gross MILK yield has exceeded 7.3 thousand tons. During the first half of this year, 3,960 tons of milk were produced, which is almost 11% higher than last year. More than 21 tons of marketable milk is produced daily on the farm.
“According to the results of the first half of the year, the Don livestock farms produced 516.5 thousand tons of milk, which is 0.4% more than in the same period last year,” said Konstantin Rachalovsky. - 147 million rubles were paid to milk producers in the first half of the year. At the expense of state support, it is planned to modernize 10 farms, for which 60 million rubles are provided from the regional budget.”
Also during the trip, the Minister of Agriculture and Food, accompanied by Oksana Kosenko, head of the administration of the Tselinsky district, visited the southeastern microdistrict of the village of Tselina, where engineering infrastructure is being built under the state program “Integrated Development of Rural Territories”.
“This year, according to the work schedule, water supply, sewerage, communication and gas supply networks will be implemented,” Oksana Kosenko said. “Next year, it is planned to rebuild power supply networks, build roads and sidewalks, and improve the territory of the microdistrict. About 570 million rubles have been allocated from the federal and regional budgets for the complex development of the North-Eastern and South-Eastern microdistricts.”
Konstantin Rachalovsky, in turn, noted that in general, in the Rostov region, within the framework of the state program "Integrated Development of Rural Territories", design and construction and engineering work is envisaged for 100 objects.
“I emphasize that state support for the agro-industrial complex and the integrated development of rural areas from the federal and regional budgets this year will amount to about 7.8 billion rubles. To date, almost half of the allocated funds have been brought to the recipients, ”summed up the head of the Don Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
