PIONERPRODUKT.by continues to publish a series of videos from the AgroExpedition “Agriculture of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan”. In this video we will show how the work of a trout farm in Kyrgyzstan works, and we will also talk about the trout business from egg incubation to commercial trout
The farm began its activities 3 years ago. The main activity is the incubation of eggs and the sale of trout fry to fisheries. At the same time, they do not have their own broodstock; caviar is purchased in Spain, delivered by plane, and then incubated in their own incubators.
For incubation of eggs, specialized incubators are used, made in Turkey, designed for 200 thousand eggs each. At the same time, the farm’s capacity is 800 thousand eggs.
The incubation period is 10-14 days.
After incubation, trout larvae are placed in special trays for rearing. When the larvae begin to grow stronger and the yolk sac splits, the fry are transferred to the pools.
Water for trout fry comes from an artesian well, which is gassed. After this, it enters the UZO (ultrasonic water purification) system, after which it enters the oxygenators. And the already purified and oxygenated water enters the pools with the fry.
Feeding of the fry is carried out with specialized feed produced in Europe.
The water after the hatchery falls into sedimentation dams, where dirt settles, and through overflows, clean water, after undergoing additional ultrasonic cleaning, ends up in the outdoor pool.
The pool is equipped with paddle aerators, which are used to saturate with oxygen and remove nitrogen from the water. In addition, aerators create a slight current, which has a good effect on the development of trout.
The pool itself is installed on a slope and has dimensions of 63x9.8 meters. To add water, auxiliary wells are used, water from which enters the pool through a system of grids with cells of different sizes. Thus, nitrogen evaporates and the water is saturated with oxygen.
