Since the beginning of 2021, the region's exporters have sent 498 thousand tons of grain to foreign buyers. This is almost a quarter more compared to the same period in 2020.
Grain and grain products were shipped to 18 countries: Kazakhstan, CHINA , Latvia, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, as well as Pakistan, Bangladesh, UAE, Lithuania, Turkey, Japan, Turkmenistan, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Poland and Malaysia.
Since the beginning of the year, inspectors from the Office of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR for the Novosibirsk Region have issued more than 10.5 thousand phytosanitary certificates for EXPORT lots of grain and products of its processing. Like last year, more than half of the exported grain was wheat - 259 thousand tons. Peas - 82 thousand tons, barley - 45 thousand tons, flax - 32 thousand tons, rapeseed - 24 thousand tons and sunflower seeds - 19 thousand tons follow in terms of shipments. In addition, soybeans, rye, buckwheat, oats and grain processing products were exported.
According to the specialists of the Department, at present, the dynamics of export shipments to China and Kazakhstan (the main importing states of grain from the Novosibirsk region) in comparison with the same period in 2020 indicates a decrease in China 's interest in rapeseed and oats, and Kazakhstan - in rapeseed and barley. At the same time, there was an increase in exports of flax, buckwheat, barley and sunflower seeds to China, as well as wheat to Kazakhstan.
Recall that in October 2021, triticale was exported from the region for the first time. 544 tons of triticale grain grown in the Novosibirsk region were shipped to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
