A batch of day-old chicks was brought to a poultry farm in the Vologda region

Almost 15,000 day-old chicks were brought to the Sheksna Poultry Farm. This is the fourth batch of hens and cockerels this year, cross Ross - 308, received by the enterprise.
Day-old young animals are purchased annually with a certain frequency to update the parent stock. it is the latter that ensure the production of the required amount of hatching eggs and, as a result, the production of broilers for fattening.
Simply put, the timely arrival of replacement young stock at the poultry farm allows you to organize the uninterrupted supply of shops with broiler chickens for fattening and compliance with the technological schedule for the production of poultry MEAT.
With proper care and maintenance of the poultry population, chickens of the Ross-308 cross show high rates of weight gain, as well as increased vitality.
Sheksninskaya Poultry Farm LLC produces poultry meat and is the main poultry meat enterprise in the region.
“A wide range of products is produced at the poultry farm: directly broiler chicken meat in a carcass, semi-finished products, offal, shish kebabs in various marinades and grilled sausages, sausages and smoked meats, canned food. All manufactured products are made from our own raw materials, grown at the enterprise, and are appreciated by customers,” said Sergey Poromonov, HEAD of the relevant Department.
