Agrarians of the Moscow Region purchased about 1,000 agricultural machinery in 2021. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region Sergei Voskresensky.

“Renewal of the machine and tractor fleet of agricultural enterprises and farms in the region is carried out all year round, and not only as part of field work. Since the beginning of 2021, farmers near Moscow have purchased about 1,000 tractors, combines and other agricultural equipment through all sales channels,” Sergei Voskresensky said.

According to the minister, new agricultural machinery is necessary for enterprises, since it allows them to carry out the planned work within the established agro-technological terms.

“To subsidize the cost of purchasing new high-performance agricultural equipment from the budget of the Moscow Region this year, a total of 273 million rubles has been allocated,” said Sergei Voskresensky.
The minister added that the renewal of agricultural machinery contributes to an increase in labor productivity in agricultural enterprises, as well as a reduction in the cost of spare parts and fuel and lubricants.
