Chelyabinsk residents demonstrated new ideas and opportunities at the district agricultural exhibition in Yekaterinburg

The 10th Interregional Agro-Industrial Exhibition of the Ural Federal District "Agroprom Ural" has ended in Yekaterinburg. South Urals residents presented new projects at the forum, novelties of import-substituting products and introduced a fashion for online communication with foreign colleagues. They also won 19 first, six second and four third places in the competition of scientific innovations and developments in the agro-industrial complex of the Ural Federal District, having submitted the largest number of applications. And they received two diplomas of the laureate of the competition.
- For the last two years we were not going to. During this time, a lot has changed. Many of you approached today's exhibition with serious achievements, new goals, ideas and opportunities, - said Vladimir Yakushev, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Ural Federal District.
The scientific research of Chelyabinsk universities, institutes and enterprises was highly appreciated. 1st place and diplomas of the first degree were awarded to the company "Gardens of Russia" for the development and implementation of research work into practice - increasing the multiplication factor in vitro of the raspberry variety "Vasena", South Ural State Agrarian University - for the development of methods for rehabilitating the production properties of soils after its reclamation, "Poultry Farm Chelyabinsk » - for the development and manufacture of a disintegrator-mixer for the preparation of an organo-mineral mixture for the production of fertilizer from bird droppings, SUSU - for the development of a scientific technology of protein hydrolysers from poultry by-products for import substitution and a new generation biosafe food ingredient for bakery products, ChNIISKh - for the creation of a variety soft wheat "Odintsovskaya", YUUNIISK - for the creation of the pear variety "Favoritka".
Scientific work today organically merges into practice.
“We did not come here empty-handed,” said Alexei Teksler, HEAD of the region. - We have one of the largest regional stands. We are leaders in the Ural Federal District in terms of gross output, we are in first place in almost the entire range of products and are among the ten largest manufacturers in the Russian Federation. But we do not stand still and understand the current challenges.”
According to the results of seven months of 2022, the Chelyabinsk region ranks third in the Russian rating for egg production. The top three domestic companies include Chelyabinskaya Poultry Farm, which produces 2.2 million eggs daily and supplies its products to more than half of Russia's regions. In 2022, the company invested more than 750 million rubles in the expansion of warehouse capacity, robotization of production, and the purchase of special equipment. After the announcement of sanctions at the poultry farm, an import-substituting production of dry complete feed for non-productive pets based on its own raw materials with a capacity of 300 tons per month was opened.
Since 2018, the Chelyabinsk region has been implementing billion-dollar projects in the field of grain processing and is constantly looking for new markets. Chelyabinsk companies "Resource", "Soyuzpishcheprom", "Ravis", "Sigma", "Niagara" rush to the Asian market. As part of the work of the Chelyabinsk delegation, Deputy Regional Minister of Agriculture Inna Podshivalova held a working meeting with colleagues from CHINA via teleconferencerepresenting the Silk Road Technology Park of the Yangling Agricultural Innovation Zone in Shanxi Province, and the participants of the Yangling Agricultural Exhibition, which is being held online due to covid. In turn, the South Urals are working on the supply of Chinese equipment to their enterprises. Partnership relations have been established with a large Chinese company "Jinan DG machinery co., Ltd" - a manufacturer of extrusion equipment.
The Okrug agricultural exhibition coincided with the announcement of the winners of the All-Russian award "Exporter of the Year" in the Urals Federal District. Among the South Ural industrialists, the participant of the agricultural exhibition is in the first place - the company "Ural Confectioners", which improved its result by one step in a year. Long biscuits made in Chelyabinsk have been appreciated in Israel, CANADA, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Georgia, China, the usa , the United Arab Emirates and ten other countries. In terms of agricultural exports, the Chelyabinsk region is in first place in the Ural Federal District, with a decent margin.
Small and large businesses do not lag behind, filling niches in the regional market with domestic products. The production of artisan cheeses is mastered in almost every agricultural region of the Chelyabinsk region. The brand "Krasnopolsky cheese maker" (Sosnovsky district) is conquering new markets by expanding the volume of products. In two years, cheese makers have doubled the production of cheese (in 2020, 5 tons of cheese were produced, in the first half of 2022 - 5.5 tons) and plan to invest 18.5 million rubles in the construction and equipment of a new CHEESE FACTORY.
