Ten small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises of the Chelyabinsk region will take part in the National competition of regional food brands "Tastes of Russia". The competition is organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation to help entrepreneurs promote new products and gastronomic agritourism. Popular voting for favorite products will take place on the contest website from October 20 to November 7.

Both newcomers and last year's contestants will take part in the second National Competition "Tastes of Russia". Bredinskoye Sunflower Oil (Perspektiva LLC), Argayashsky Goose (goose MEAT in its own juice from the GusAr agricultural cooperative), Sultanovsky Cheese (aged semi-hard cheeses), Krasnopolsky Cheese will again compete for victory in the competition. ” (aged cheeses according to Swiss technologies from an individual entrepreneur Elena Sementsova). Revolution of Taste LLC, last year's winner, will present two brands: the already well-known Cheese from Syrostan (premium quality artisan cheeses according to original and classic recipes) and the debut Miass Restaurant in a Bank (gastronomic canned food with restaurant dishes). Sauerkraut according to old recipes will appear under the Petrovsky Pickles brand.
- We produce sauerkraut without the use of preservatives, completely natural, according to home recipes, as our grandmothers and mothers cooked. There is no sauerkraut on the shelves in the networks, there is pickled cabbage with the addition of vinegar and water, this is a completely different product - it is tasty, but not so healthy. We use vegetables grown on our farm, as well as by the Cossack society on the farm "Miass". Saving the taste and all the useful properties of our products is facilitated by eco-friendly modern craft packaging.

The new contestants represent popular meat processing and ready-to-eat food products, as well as traditional Ural honey. This is the brand "Uralsky ham" (cured ham from an individual entrepreneur Evgeny Chepurin). Brands "Ukha in Ural style", "Solyanka in Ural style", "Ural style mashed potatoes with vegetables" - products from dry mixes that do not require cooking, from New Products LLC, HEAD Marina Berestova. "Tayandinskiy honey" from the personal subsidiary plot "Taste of Honey" by Pavel Vshivtsev. "Dubrovsky sausages" from LLC "Tribal stud farm "Dubrovsky" (boiled sausage "Extra").

Recall that in 2020, seven small enterprises - food manufacturers from the Chelyabinsk region took part in the National Competition "Tastes of Russia". “Revolution of Taste” (Izvestnaya CHEESE FACTORY) took third place in the “From Our Village” nomination (the population of the territory where the enterprise operates is up to three thousand people), and also entered the top 10 participants in the “Look at the Light” nomination for brands that have prospects for the development of the tourism potential of the territory.
