Andrei Korobka, deputy HEAD of the region, spoke about the development of the food and processing industry of the region in 2022.

“The governor has set a task to increase the share of non-primary exports of agricultural products to 50% in the coming years. In order for us to be able to EXPORT finished products to any country in the world without any problems, they must comply with international quality and safety standards. To date, this figure has reached 65%. These are mainly confectionery and sausage products, canned fruits and vegetables, dairy products, FLOUR. In 2022, we plan to increase it to 70%,” Andrey Korobka said.

The vice-governor noted that the modernization of production facilities, automation of processes and the introduction of advanced technologies will allow achieving this goal.

“Every year, processing enterprises allocate substantial funds for technical re-equipment. For 9 months of last year, this amount exceeded 8 billion rubles,” Andrey Korobka said.
