FGBI ARRIAH hosted the VI International Scientific Conference "Scientists' Achievements in Veterinary Practice" dedicated to the 60th anniversary of FGBI ARRIAH postgraduate studies

The Federal Center for Animal HEALTH, subordinated to ROSSELKHOZNADZOR, is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the establishment of graduate school and the 45th anniversary of the dissertation council. In connection with these significant dates, on March 22 and 23, 2022, the VI International Scientific Conference "Achievements of scientists - in veterinary practice" was held.

The event was held in a classic style using an online format. The conference was attended by leading scientists, experts in the field of veterinary medicine, representatives of scientific institutions and higher educational institutions from RUSSIA, Belarus and Kazakhstan, in total more than 100 people. Welcoming remarks were made by: DIRECTOR of the FGBI “ARRIAH” P.I. Kosyrev; HEAD of the OIE Regional Office for Europe in Moscow, Dr. Budimir Plavsic; Deputy Head of the Department of the Russian Agricultural Sciences for the Vladimir, Kostroma and Ivanovo regions Director of the FGBNU "VNITIBP" S.V. Leonov; Advisor to the Head of Rosselkhoznadzor N.V. Lebedev.

Of particular interest were the reports of the DOCTOR of Biological Sciences, Professor, Corr. RAS A.D. Zaberezhny; First Vice-Rector of the St. Petersburg State University of Veterinary Medicine, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor A.A. Sukhinin; the chief experts of the FGBI "ARRIAH" - Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor V.M. Zakharov and Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor N.A. Carrier; Dean of the Veterinary and Biology Faculty of the FSBEI HE MGAVMiB - MBA named after K.I. Skryabin, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor E.I. Yarygina, whose speeches were not only informative, but also indicative for young scientists.

Postgraduate students and applicants presented their reports. Many of the works of young scientists have caused discussion.

The organizers of the conference announced a competition with nominations for "Best Scientific Article", "Best Report" and "Best Presentation". The best deservedly received awards. At the end of the conference, certificates and diplomas were awarded to the participants of the conference.

All scientific articles of the conference participants will be published in the Proceedings of the Federal Center for Animal Health (volume XVIII) with subsequent placement in the database of the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI). The best articles on each of the declared areas of the conference will be published in the scientific journal "Veterinary Science Today", included in the List of publications of the Higher Attestation Commission in specialties 1.5.10. Virology (veterinary sciences) and 4.2.3. Infectious diseases and animal immunology (veterinary sciences).

The two-day conference concluded its work with a tour of the historic center of Vladimir.
