The draft resolution is published on the federal portal of draft regulations. "The draft resolution proposes to increase the maximum amount of the Agrostartup grant provided to peasant (farm) farms engaged in cattle breeding from 5 million rubles to 7 million rubles, respectively - for other types of activities - from 3 to 5 million rubles" , the document says. At the same time, the increase in the size of the grant will not affect the number of grant recipients.

Let us recall that earlier the People's Farmer Association turned to Oksana Lut, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of RUSSIA, with a proposal to increase the amount of the Agrostartup grant due to rising prices and increased costs associated with the production of agricultural products.

Oleg Sirota, Chairman of the People's Farmer Association, Chairman of the Commission of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex and Rural Territories:

- Our large farming family needs constant replenishment. The People's Farmer Association, the Commission of the Public Chamber of Russia for the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex and Rural Territories pays great attention to working with novice farmers, we regularly organize seminars and conferences. In the current realities, due to rising prices for fertilizers and spare parts, an increase in the amount of grant support is a necessary and timely measure. We believe that it will be able to contribute to an increase in the number of farms, motivate existing private household plots to enlarge their farms. The People's Farmer Association is grateful to the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia for supporting our initiative and continuous dialogue with the farming community. Agriculture has great opportunities today. I believe that the increase in the amount of the Agrostartup grant will allow attracting young novice farmers to the industry.
