At the initiative of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, the Government has set additional quotas for the EXPORT of sunflower oil and cake from RUSSIA. The decision was made taking into account the full supply of such products to the domestic market, it will additionally support manufacturers.
According to the signed resolution, the quota for the export of sunflower oil was increased by 400 thousand tons (previously the allowable volume was 1.5 million tons), for the export of cake - by 150 thousand tons (previously - 0.7 million tons).
At the end of 2021, the Lipetsk Region entered the TOP-10 regions in terms of exports of fat and oil products. It was the export of fat and oil products that became the main export item of the region's agro-industrial complex last year. Its share in the total volume of exports of agricultural products amounted to 50%. In recent years, an agro-industrial cluster for the cultivation and processing of oilseeds has been formed on the territory of the Lipetsk region. There are already 8 oil extraction plants operating in the region with a total processing capacity of over 3 thousand tons of raw materials per day. In the near future, another enterprise for the deep processing of high-protein oilseeds with a capacity of 2,000 tons of seeds per day will be launched. In 2022, the export of vegetable oils and cakes from the region continues. The main importing countries are Turkey and CHINA.
Quotas for deliveries of sunflower oil and cake abroad are valid until August 31 inclusive.
