The preliminary results of the work of the agro-industrial complex of the Lipetsk region for 2021 have been summed up. The harvesting campaign in the region has been completed. The Lipetsk farmers had a difficult year. Nevertheless, about 3 million 200 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops were harvested in the region with a yield of 40 centners per hectare. This is the third indicator in the history of the region.
The oilseeds harvest amounted to more than 750 thousand tons (at the level of the previous year). At the same time, it should be noted that for the first time in the region, 143 thousand tons of soybeans were harvested. This year, special attention was paid to the production of SUGAR beet, the harvest of which amounted to 4 million tons. This is half a million more than last year. At the moment, more than 500 thousand tons of sugar have already been produced.
Potato production in the organized sector remained at the level of last year - 172 thousand tons. More than 75 thousand tons of fruits and berries were harvested in horticultural farms, which is 15% higher than in 2020. Of the 1.5 million tons of greenhouse vegetables planned to be harvested in the Russian Federation this year, more than 170 thousand tons will be grown in the Lipetsk region. The region continues to take a leading position in this direction.
Winter sowing was carried out on an area of 370 thousand hectares in optimal agronomic terms. Most of the crops (99%) are in good and satisfactory condition.
In 2021, 3.1 billion rubles were allocated to finance the programs of the agro-industrial complex of the Lipetsk Region, including 2.7 billion rubles from the federal budget. State support is aimed at the development of crop and livestock industries, the integrated development of rural areas, support for farmers, rural cooperation and subsidizing the interest rate on investment loans. The average monthly salary in all sectors of the agro-industrial complex amounted to 36.8 thousand rubles.
Taking into account the fact that each hectare of Lipetsk land is used efficiently, a further increase in production volumes can only occur through the introduction of new technologies, intensive farming and innovative development.
In connection with the planned construction of eight poultry sites (five broilers with a total production of 125 thousand tons of poultry MEAT and three for the production of turkey meat - 18 thousand tons), an increase in grain production is planned in the region. Taking into account the construction of two processing plants of Cherkizovo-masla and Chernozemye companies for processing soybeans with a total volume of 1.2 million tons, the sown area of this crop will also be increased.
The construction of the second stage of the potato processing plant carried out by LVM RUS requires an increase in potato production. In addition, the task was set in the region to increase fruit production to 100,000 tons in the near future by laying intensive orchards.
